My love for bicycles wasn’t born in a modern shop; it was born on the streets of my hometown, watching my grandfather return from the local market. I can still vividly picture him pedaling back on his vibrant blue steel bicycle, bags of groceries hanging from the handlebars. To me, that bike wasn’t just a means of transportation—it was a symbol of timeless Italian craftsmanship, freedom, and character.
Since those days, I have never stopped pedaling. As I grew older, while the world rushed toward modern, carbon-fiber designs, I found myself continually drawn backward. I began collecting vintage and classic Italian steel bicycles. There is an undeniable soul in a hand-brazed vintage frame, a mechanical perfection, and a historical heritage that modern bikes simply cannot replicate.
From Global Markets to Vintage Steel
While cycling was my lifetime passion, my professional journey spent more than ten years thriving in the world of international trade and e-commerce.
Pioneering Wine E-Commerce: I founded SalentoWineshop, which became the very first e-commerce platform in Italy dedicated exclusively to the wines of the Puglia region. Through digital innovation and strict attention to quality, I expanded the business, eventually exporting fine Italian wines to collectors and enthusiasts all across Europe.
The American Chapter: Moving forward, I took my experience across the Atlantic. For two years, I operated as an importer and distributor in the United States, managing Wine Craft Importers of Michigan Corporation. This experience sharpened my expertise in global logistics, premium sourcing, and serving a highly discerning international clientele.
